The Role
Based in our South West London office, you will be responsible for managing part of our world-wide partner base. ThinkGrid relies heavily on its network of partners whom you will utilise to close deals. You will be eager to get in to new business mode, to chase down opportunities, prospect and network.
Your role will be broken into a number of key areas:
Partner Development
You will be part of the worldwide partner team, looking to develop existing partners to generate new opportunities within their customer base
You will work with Sales Executives to help drive additional revenue through our Reseller partners
Help provide sales support, quote building and pre-sales
Organise marketing and sales campaigns with your partners to generate interest
Demand Generation
Working from incoming leads and various campaigns, you will follow up, qualify, and work with colleagues to identify new opportunities.
You will work with business development managers to nurture leads into opportunities and move them towards close.
Generate end-user opportunities for your partner base
Marketing/Product Development
As the first line of communication with our partners, you will also have a keen eye for changes in customer demands and will work with marketing and product teams to ensure our service mix is best positioned to satisfy the market

Responsibilities:

Accountability for end-to-end order management process, including order processing.
Help prepare supporting material for ThinkGrid's channel partners
Manage and maintain Customer and Partner accounts with accurate and current information
Coordinate and keep thorough records of customer interactions including service deployment, provisioning, delivery and billing history.
Liaise with ThinkGrid's engineering team to ensure swift and efficient fulfillment of Reseller's orders
Work closely with ThinkGrid' internal sales team, its external partners and our engineers to assist with and resolve customer issues

The Role
The role is split into two elements: Internal Engineering - the design, installation, and maintenance of Windows server technology for delivery of virtualisation and cloud computing services. Core tasks will be the management of IIS and related services in a high density server environment, administration of relational database systems, performing system backups, upgrades and performance tuning. Successful candidates should have experience with large-scale server deployments, and be able to provide proactive solutions to customer problems, working in conjunction with our first and second-level support staff. Another part of the role is Customer Facing - supporting the sales team in a pre-sales capacity and developing relationships with customers from a technical perspective.
You will produce and/or deliver customer-specific demonstrations or technical presentations. Develop technical sections of proposals and answers to RFP. Qualify opportunities from a technical perspective and perform needs analysis for qualified sales opportunities. Provide training to customers and partners as well as attending customer and prospects meetings and respond to customers' technology-related questions, assessing customers' needs, and making recommendations on the best product configuration/integration.
